Gaia's warriors in a dying world

Werewolf: The Apocalypse pits shapeshifting warriors against the Wyrm's spiritual rot; pollution, cruelty, and despair given fangs. Garou are not mere monsters; they are culture-bearers, soldiers, and priests of a wounded earth. Chronicle tone ranges from eco-horror and pack drama to mythic quest. The creator helps you choose tribe, auspice, and breed so your character's place in Gaia's war is clear from night one.

Tribes, auspices, and pack bonds

Tribe defines tradition, enemy, and sacred duty; Get of Fenris, Uktena, Glass Walkers, and others each fight differently. Auspice marks the moon under which you were born: Ragabash trickster, Ahroun war leader, Theurge spirit-speaker, and more. Packs are family, war-band, and therapy group at once. Record pack ties and territorial claims in backgrounds so your Storyteller can weave caern politics and rival septs into play.

The Umbra, Rage, and spiritual cost

Garou cross between flesh and spirit. The Umbra reflects; and distorts; the physical world's wounds. Rage fuels transformation and violence but threatens harmony. Gifts are blessings from spirits, earned through quest and reputation. Use the wizard to list starting gifts and renown leanings so advancement feels earned, not arbitrary.

Storyteller tips

Establish pack composition before fine-tuning individuals. Export PDFs so auspice roles are visible: a pack of five Ahroun is a different chronicle than a balanced circle. Tie each Garou to a scar on the land: a poisoned river, a gentrified block, a desecrated shrine.

Player tips

Play auspice as role, not stat dump. Describe your Crinos form and what mortals might glimpse. Update renown on the dossier when the table awards it: shared records prevent arguments.
