What the Service is
The Service is an independent fan-made World of Darkness character creation tool. It is not produced by, affiliated with, or endorsed by Paradox Interactive AB. World of Darkness and related marks are trademarks of Paradox Interactive AB; limited materials may be used under separate permission as stated elsewhere on the site. We do not grant you any license to Paradox intellectual property beyond what is required to use this website as offered.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be old enough under the laws of your jurisdiction to enter a binding agreement and to use online services without parental consent where such consent is required. Optional sign-in (for example via email magic link or Google) is provided to enable cloud sync and related features. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
Your content and license to us
Character data you enter is yours. To operate optional cloud saves, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, encrypt in transit where applicable, and process that content solely to provide the Service to you. You represent that your use does not violate applicable law or third-party rights. Do not upload malware or attempt to overload, scrape, or probe the Service in ways that could harm availability or security.
Prohibited conduct
You may not misuse the Service, attempt unauthorized access to systems or data of other users, circumvent technical limits, resell access, or use the Service to harass, defraud, or distribute unlawful content. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe these terms have been violated.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Character-building rules and exports are aids for play at your table; they are not official rulings and may contain errors.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of this deployment and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or (b) zero if the Service is offered without charge.
Changes, governing law, and contact
We may modify these terms; the updated date above will change, and continued use may constitute acceptance where permitted by law. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. Unless mandatory local law says otherwise, interpret these terms in light of the jurisdiction where the deployment operator is established, or, if unclear, the laws commonly applied to consumer web services in that operator’s country.
